Music Researcher, founder, and director of “Leymer Folk Music and Dance Group of Bushehr” since 1991. The Leymer Folk Music and Dance Group from Bushehr under his direction has participated in more than 60 international folklore festivals in countries such as Germany, Yemen, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Croatia, South Korea, Qatar, Dubai, Russia, Oman, and Morocco.

Some of his activities are as follows:

Director, composer, and player of dammam of “Leymer Folk Music and Dance Group of Bushehr” since 1991.

Collaboration with Kirklees Council to celebrate Year of Music 2023, and performance of Bushehr folk musical instruments such as neyanban, dammam and ney.

Collaboration with Toby Martin's pop music band as a player of Iranian instruments such as dammam, neyanban, and ney for the music album I Felt the Valley Lifting, 2021, and live music performances including the Onwards Festival in Huddersfield, 2022.

Performing fusion music based on Bushehr music with Huddersfield University students, 2019.

Lecture on Persian Gulf music for non-native students at Kirklees College in 2022.
Member of International Dance Council (CID), UNESCO, 2010.
Collaboration with the British Museum for the Silkroad project in 2000.

Research Activities
He began his research on the music of Bushehr in 1996 with a research project entitled Anthropology of Bushehr Music for the Centre of Iranian Cultural Heritage Organisation. After that, he has given many articles and lectures in Iran, of which the following can be mentioned. He was awarded the best researcher by the Music Association of Iran in 2005, and by the Tehran Municipality in 2010.
